My 15 year old daughter LOVES zombie stuff and swears we are going to have an Zombie Apocalypse. No matter, as I love the books and I read the books many many times over the years so a talented author like yourself gives me many hours of pleasure and escapism (or Training for the upcoming “Zombie Apocalypse”) I love your work and as I live in Australia it would be really nice to see the “International” part of Team in action, maybe Team Harbinger working WITH an Aussie Team!! (Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi!!!) It looks SWEET!! I should have taken a pic and attached it. I have sewn them onto an Auscam (Australian Army Camo) and my Grab bag (not my Bug out bag) my everyday use bag.
They are great value, look awesome and I got them quite swiftly.

This is easily the coolest series I have ever read and the characters are incredibly relateable and human and that’s what sets the books apart from nearly everything else i have ever read, not to mention the humor. I can’t get enough of this series (even my XCOM team members, its an xbox 360 game, are named after the characters in the books – super geek i know, how cool am i?). Correia, I just discovered your books a few months ago (okay my girlfriend found them and liked the cover and bought it for me) and now i just finished Legion (signed copy, that’s right i am a collector) this morning at 3am. Doing otherwise would be me sabotaging my own career. So I will sell autographed MHLs on the blog here, but not until after the sales rush in stores is over. If the bookseller sells fewer books because I’m selling them personally, then when my next book comes out, they order fewer copies, which is the exact opposite of what a writer wants to have happen. If you buy them from me instead of a bookseller, it lowers my sales stats. I can’t do that during the initial release months though because A. Once the initial rush at booksellers is over, then I will always grab a bunch to sell myself here on the blog. There are plenty of unsigned normal editions in bookstores everywhere. I really am, I feel your pain, but I am stuck. The publisher sent me, and I signed 6,000 pages to be bound into books for the signed eidtion, after that there is literally not a thing I can do about the signed editions. We are treated to page-turning action, serious weaponry, a great monster auction scene, and a satisfying knock-down drag-out assault on the bad guys’ hideout: all good stuff.Michele, I have absolutely zero control over anything Amazon does.

On the plus side: Thank goodness for the Shoggoth. Guardian is missing a lot of the humor, devil-may-care monster battles, and quirky characters that make the other books in the series shine. Nothing meant against protective mothers. I get that she is obsessed with the baby-How can we miss it? She tells us ad nauseum-but her single-minded fervor bogs the story down. I get that the maternal instinct is strong. Julie’s solo, Sarah Connor-like one-woman crusade gets a little tiring. I am a big Monster Hunters International series fan, but this is not one of my favorites. She must also deal with some personal issues when her evil, Master Vampire mother wants Ray for herself. In her desperate search for Ray, Julie single-handedly cuts a wide swath through the monsters of Europe. Needless to say, the adze does not play fair. It wants the ancient artifact she’s been chosen to guard in exchange for baby Ray. While her husband and legendary monster-hunter hero, Owen Pitt, is off fighting a chaos god with most of MHI ( Monster Hunter Siege), Julie Shackleford is stuck minding the shop and watching over baby Ray, aka Little Bubba.Ī routine recruitment turns into a trap, and Julie is forced to bargain with an adze, a powerful, sneaky vampire-like creature that possesses regular folks.
